The Typed Context Protocol is a set of rules for creating, measuring, and communicating information decisions require
The Internet wasn't designed for the Age of AI.
We're rethinking Human-AI decision scenarios: Verifiability between
human Intent and machine Interpretation must be measurable, auditable,
and calibrated for governance where real-world risk exists.
What is the Typed Context Protocol
- We define Context as information that changes understanding in decision-making
- Decisions are typically chains of handoffs between systems, with each having their own Context, means at any communication point Intent is at risk of silently changed Interpretation, and the greater risk of unverifiability of silent Intepretation changes.
- A Typed Context Object is a persistent, type-verifiable way to ensure that Context is maintained, measurable, and verifiable over chains of communication in decision-making systems.
- Context is especially important when AI impacts our physical lives, such as through robotics and/or financial decision systems for companies with legal and compliance requirements.
North Star
- Identify the smallest set of rules to support verifiabile understanding in decision networks relying on mutual intent & interpretation.
